The main purpose of this position is to assist the Executive Director by supervising
licensure operations for the Board. This includes managing the processing of professional pharmacist licenses
and pharmacy technician registrations and pharmacy licenses including pharmacies
and distributors. Supervision of the operation also includes the management of the following functions:
- Continuing Education Audits for Pharmacists;
- Licensure renewal for professional pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and businesses;
- Processing examination scores and licensure of new pharmacy graduates;
- Processing applications from pharmacists reciprocating from other States into Maryland;
- Data Processing functions associated with licensure;
- Revenue Collection and reconciliation with licenses issued;
and
- Contract development and monitoring.
