The Management Information Services (MIS) Manager provides Informational
Technology (IT) support to
assure that the Board's operational functions including fiscal, auditing and reconciliation systems are designed and maintained consistent with the Boards' statutory authority. The position
is involved with the set up and management of all Board information systems relative to processing information.
The MIS Manager and unit staff members maintain computer network operations, personal
computers, internet access, data storage and data retrieval. The position provides
recommendations related to Information Technology that are consistent with State policy and nationally accepted standards for Boards of Pharmacy.
The position provides support designing and implementing electronic systems
for budget management, auditing, and fiscal reconciliation.
The MIS Manager provides guidance to Board staff on technology matters. This position confers with the Executive Director on special projects and assists with their implementation.
