What is the procedure for taking the NAPLEX
and MPJE?
Examination Candidates will not be approved to take the NAPLEX or
MPJE Examinations unless they have met all of the

Hour Information:
Applicants must obtain on State Board letterhead
verification of internship hours earned outside of
Maryland. The verification must include preceptor and
permit holder verification information, as well as
completion of State Board of Pharmacy Internship
Certifications or other State Board internship
requirements. Applications for licensure in Maryland
will not be approved for internship hours earned outside of
Maryland, until internship verification has been
provided.
** US / ACPE Graduates may take the Oral Competency
Examination at any time, before or after NAPLEX/MPJE approval.
