No. A pharmacist must have practiced in the United
States in order to reciprocate.

Yes.
- Does
the Maryland Board have reciprocity with California?
Yes.
Reciprocity Process Overview
- Applicant mails Board Application and $120 fee to the Board
- Board mails the Applicant a Maryland law book to use as a study guide for
taking the MPJE
- Obtain an Official NABP Application, Board Application and MPJE Booklet and
form from the Board or NABP
- Applicant mails Official NABP Application with fee of $300 and MPJE
form with fee of $170 to NABP
- NABP mails Applicant a ATT number to take the MPJE at computerized testing
center
- Applicant must schedule to take the Oral Competency examination (aprox. $35)
- Oral Competency examination results are faxed to the Board from the testing
center
- NABP emails MPJE scores to the Board weekly

Requirement Summary:
- Graduate of a school or college of pharmacy that
is either approved by the Board or accredited by the American Council
on Pharmaceutical Education,
- Have a valid pharmacists license from another state,
- Complete 520 pharmacy experience hours after graduation
